Frederick descended from a long line of nobility. His ancesters included Alfred the Great, William the Conquerer, Knights, Dukes, Queens and Kings of England and of France, and nobles of every kind. The most recent nobility included Lord Dudley of Sutton, whose line held onto the lordly Castle Dudley located on the English midlands. Fred was a builder and carpenter. His job took the family up and down the east coast. His daughter, Frances, attended school in the south.
