Sarah's father made her a side-saddle, later in possession of her daughter, Hanna R. Weldin, of Brandywine Hundred. She and her family were members of the M.E. Church. Sarah was of full medium height, featues perfect, countenance bright and intelligent, and of a remarkable cheerful disposition. She also was a rapid talker. She died of Pulmonary Weakness in the 60th year of her age.
